Is silence (not speaking) a right?

What would happen if someone never talked? Like never answered a question in class, never said anything to their parents, never spoke?





Could the police or school do anything? What would happen to that person?|||I have no clue i have actually thought about doing this once i went a whole day without say 5 words and it didnt bother me in the least infact i loved it. TRY IT i seriously doubt it that they could do anything but they would sure as hell try to get you to a counsulier|||Yes, you have the right to remain silent. XD It's in your Miranda Rights, right? Plus, there's a lot of mute and catatonic people out there. I don't think they've gotten any legal action taken against them for it. It does make life difficult for other people who need to communicate with you, and you're not responding, though...
