Im writing a paper about this. I have this so far------
What is sound without silence?
The world wouldn’t be right without silence. Music without silence wouldn't be normal. Without a few silences in a song, the song would be constant. When someone is talking and just suddenly stops, it brings attention to themselves.
For example if a teacher is talking and all her students are talking, the teacher stops, all the students notice and are quiet. They’re wondering “What is she doing?” “Why did she stop talking?” “Are we in trouble?” “What’s going on?” It’s a good way for a teacher to take control of her talking kids in class.

I dont know what else to write...|||i dong kno but you could further describe how sound without silence is less meaningful, like how you can't have an excellent student unless you have average students. Take away the average students and all you have are excellent students, but that pretty much makes excellent the new average because everyone's at the bar and there's no one raising the bar. YADIG DOG?!|||The larger idea is that you can't understand an idea unless you can or have experienced its opposite. How can we know happiness unless we have experienced unhappiness? How can we understand health unless we understand pain? We need a point of reference. You can't appreciate sound unless you have experiened silence. Conversely, you can't appreciate silence unless you've experienced sound. Think of a time when you've been all alone (perhaps in the middle of the night) and you would have loved to have heard someone's voice. The opposite is also true. If you've been in a noisy place, you might long for silence. We come to understand things because of the extremes.|||a lot of sound and no silence... DER!!
