How to ask out a girl without awkward silences?

When ever i ask a girl out and she says yes there is always an awkward silence right after she says yes. I want to know how to ask a girl out without that awkward silence and without just saying ok and walking away. I need help|||I know it may be awkward everytime, but don't despair --it gets easier with practice. The reason it's awkward is cause that she actually has to consider saying Yes to you...and that thought might throw both you and her off a little. If you wanna remain cool with it, make a joke about it, like "Oh, so that's why you never answer my phone calls :p" or whatever, make it casual and unaffected. It'll do you both good by making it a little easier. If her pause makes you uncomfortable, just shrug it off, pretend like you don't notice it cause most likely, she won't notice it that way either.

Good luck! %26lt;3

Help with mine? (:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>|||it's impossible unless ur over 25|||ok first of all, never ever ask them out with an awkward silence!!! ever! say something funny to get her laughing then kinda throw it out there and be just.. cool about it. if she says yes, say great and ask where she'd like to go.. if she says no, just say "that's ok i understand" and don't keep hounding her because most girls will keep you around just for the attention.
