Miranda: Rights of silence ?

I agreed to take a lie detective test and was questioned by the police after supposedly "failing".. though i was never shown the results .. they never read me my rights

Is ok that they did this or can something be done about it ??|||John d and Gordon J are correct. The very moment you became a suspect, your Miranda rights should have been read. Questioning you after the polygraph suggest that you were a suspect and violated your right to remain silent since it was done without the proper warning. It is not OK. You need to consult counsel.|||Wow, you picked the "answer" that said another (better) answer was right! What is up with that?

|||The lie detector test is only a guide, you should have asked for a Lawyer immediately, even if you didn't do it. They can detain you for questioning and they can go for hours, that means you are not arrested but they are holding you. They can hold you for 24 hours I think without charges. Best advice, get a lawyer.|||The lie detector test is not admissible as evidence anyway, so it does not matter. Had you passed the test, they might have believed you, but the fact that you failed the test does not help them to prove a case against you.

So it is a non-event, legally.|||You were not under arrest, therefore, no reading of the Miranda Rights. The lie detector test cannot be used in court either. You also have the choice of when you wish to stop answering any questions.|||You agreed.Whether you failed or past is between the cop and the machine.Your admission to be tested says something about your guilt. And do you know how to read the test results? Dont worry.|||No it's not ok. Talk to a lawyer and never answer questions from law enforcement without counsel.|||They make these things called LAWYERS.|||LMAO you got caught. Man up and tell the truth.
